Ensemble, la Chute (cie Les Somatonautes)
Creation 2024, Body and Music Performance
I fall, you fall, they fall. The fall in memory, in thought of [you], the collapse in [us]. What happens when we all fall together? To rise again to grow and become dust once more, in time flowing like a waterfall. For the 4th edition of the International Festival of Ecological and Social Film 2024 in Cannes, the Somatonautes rise only to fall again.
The setup: a space where 10 performers move continuously. With each fall, a boundary is marked on the floor, opening up a space where plastic and vocal expression becomes possible. Another area, dedicated to playing instruments (guitar, clarinet, percussion, etc.), is also present. The stage welcomes our stories, our songs, and the connections between us. Each person chooses to respond to the spontaneous calls of what happens, without knowing what will occur next; [momentum]. What do you do in the moment when falling at full speed? Do you choose to grab the outstretched hands or drag each other into the [ ]. A human fresco, from birth to collapse, celebrating in euphoria, like the burning of the planet around which we dance as if at a great bonfire.

GÜMÜŞI, POÈMES EN FERRAILLE
Dance/Theater Performance in Collective for Ages 10 and Up
Duration: 25 minutes
GÜMÜŞI is a first collaboration between Ivana Grubor, Suzanne Alsibaï, and Vivi Victoire Knuchel. It explores the intersection of theatrical presence and the narrated storytelling of Suzanne, alongside the raw and metallic melodies of Lapsöria (Vivi Victoire Knuchel). A coordinated madness.
“GÜMÜŞI” (meaning "silver" in Turkish) performs the brief experimental form: “Poem in Scrap Metal.” We offer you a useless yet sweet meeting, illuminated by a nightlight in an intimate and cramped space. It will be a strange and secret ceremony, an ode to the present that propels us into an imaginary beyond. We will start with remnants and carcasses, worn metallic objects that we have uncovered and recovered, to explore and connect with our childhood fears.
The moment will be written to the rhythm and in the dreamlike universe produced live by an electronic music composition. Old stories, memories, and clashing sounds will allow us to juggle with the boundary between flesh, air, and bone to craft a formless poem, shifting the so-called real relationships between signified and signifier. We call for the dream of an assembled gathering.

Collaboration with Les Pygmalions Company
In 2021, Les Pygmalions invited Vivi Victoire Knuchel to create a solo for their debut creation MIRANCES, a show about the metamorphoses of the human body. This collaboration was later developed through sound creations for the same show and then in 2022 for their following production: Aïon, a collaborative and multidisciplinary piece (dance, multimedia, musical creation).
Thanks to Abla Alaoui for musical direction and Dina Khazai for dramaturgy for their invitations and support.

Original Soundtrack for a documentary: La Parole aux Enfants
Original Soundtrack of 7 Tracks (~36min total) for the Documentary La Parole aux Enfants, Directed by Florian Poupin; Synthesizers and Drum Machine, November 2020
Synopsis:
“The Elsau neighborhood in Strasbourg is set to undergo a major redevelopment in the coming years. Annabelle RODRIGUEZ and Sophie RIVAT, two 5th-grade teachers at Léonard de Vinci school in Elsau, decided to involve their students in this redevelopment project.
Through various outings and with the help of different contributors, the students were able to gain a better understanding of their environment, their neighborhood, and develop a true geographer’s eye on what surrounds them.”
Special thanks to Florian Poupin for his understanding and patience.
Original sound design for a performance: Les Échos du Silence
Sound Piece Composed for the Performance Désillésions (21min33) by Duo 31 Pourpres for the Launch of the Magazine RadaR, October 2020
The performance Désillésions highlights the new individual and collective rituals that have emerged from the troubling context of lockdown. Through the contact of bodies, the duo makes us feel the warmth of the other, which this period deprived us of, in a release where forms of resistance and individual impulses collide.
